A few notes what this is all about...
Here we'll take the chance to tell you what our motivation is on running and maintaining the HYDEme network, why we started it all and where we hope it will lead some day.

The situation:
Nowadays the internet becomes not only more and more popular, it already is the last resource you'll need for having fun, going shopping, meeting people and getting information. Depending on how paranoid you are, you're probably already clear about the fact, that official bodies all around the world monitor and log every step you take. This can end in dozens of uncomfortable situations and problems with authorities.

Our motivation:
We sat down and said: We have to make an easy to use and comfortable tool for ourselves, that protects us from beeing surveilled while surfing our favorite sites (Shopping, banking, health & medical information...). Looking at various possibilities and testing them we came up with HYDEme. After using it on our own at first we started handing it out to friends. They did the same and so on... We realized that we have to spread it much more, since HYDEme works best the more it's being used.

General statement:
We're giving away a tool for free, that helps to protect the right of privacy, which is actually given by the constitution of most western civilisations, so we're pretty sure that official authorities are glad that we're helping out with that tool. If you live in a country that doesn't grant that right, you'll be happy to have HYDEme even more!
And of course, it's also about making a few bucks on the side. Althoug the ads are mainly to pay for the buttload of traffic you're causing us!
